Bank of America Charitable Foundation

Bank of America’s $25,000 grant will be used to provide qualified medical interpreter training to 40-50 recent high school graduates, young adults and Natividad Medical Center staff, bridging the gap between healthcare providers who struggle to communicate complex medical information to patients who speak Spanish or indigenous languages such as Triqui and Mixteco. The grant was presented by Bank of America’s Daryl Thome, Senior Vice President, Sr. Client Manager, Food and Agribusiness Lending Group and Deidre Smallwood, Senior Vice President, Customer Experience Executive, Monterey Bay Market President.
