Sally P. Archer Child Advocacy Center/
Bates-Eldredge Clinic

It is a tragic reality that between 33% and 66% of sexual assault victims are under age 15 and 77% of those are victimized in their own homes, where they expect protection and safety from harm. When Monterey County children need help, the Bates-Eldredge Clinic is the lone resource to address their needs.
The Sally P. Archer Child Advocacy Center is a multi-disciplinary interview center and the Bates-Eldredge Clinic is a medical clinic for abused children. The only one of its kind on California's Central Coast, the Bates-Eldredge Clinic serves approximately 200 child victims of sexual abuse each year, utilizing a highly skilled team of medical professionals, Family and Children's Services social workers and law enforcement agencies representing 17 distinct districts. Through the collaborative efforts of these dedicated professionals, defenseless victims are being served by a state-of-the-art clinic and staff.
Support is needed to provide continued training and equipment for these vital services to the children in our community.
