The Agricultural Leadership Council - TALC
In February 2011, Natividad Medical Foundation honored John D’Arrigo, President & CEO, D'Arrigo Bros. Co. of CA, as the recipient of the 2011 Hero Award. The Hero Award, established in 2008, honors individuals or organizations that have made a significant philanthropic contribution to help fulfill Natividad Medical Center’s mission to continually improve the health status of the people of Monterey County through access to affordable, high quality healthcare services.
John D’Arrigo founded The Agricultural Leadership Council (TALC) along with 22 agricultural business leaders to philanthropically support the Natividad Medical Center. TALC members recognize the need for necessary medical equipment, diagnostic tools and services to help farm workers and their families. Since its inception, TALC has grown to 85 members and has donated more than $418,000 to pay for much needed medical equipment for the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Medical-Surgery Unit, Pediatrics and the adult Intensive Care Unit. TALC is truly changing lives and saving lives!
