Board of TrusteesIn addition to $8 million in generous contributions to help stabilize the community's Safety Net Hospital, both Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital and Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula have two representatives on the Hospital's Interim Board of Trustees. In April 2008, the Board of Supervisors approved a one-year extension of the Interim Board.
