Emergency Department Receives $225,000 Grant

The Barnet J. Segal Charitable Trust has stepped forth as the first philanthropic leader in helping Natividad Medical Center achieve VISION 2010 by granting $225,000 for Information Technology upgrades for the Emergency Department.

Dr. Bass, Medical Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Natividad, says, “We are very thankful to the Trust for this generous gift. The new patient management system will help us improve our efficiency as well as our quality of care and patient safety.”

The Barnet J. Segal Charitable Trust and Trustees William Brodsley and Stu Berman were honored with the 2008 Natividad Medical Foundation "Hero Award."
