Patient/Family-Centered Care
VISION 2010: The Ideal Patient Experience
Natividad Medical Center will set the standard for creating The Ideal Patient Experience at safety net hospitals. Our goal is to help children and families with limited and non-English speaking proficiency overcome language and cultural barriers they may encounter in the hospital.
Creating the Ideal Patient Experience at Natividad will require:
- Professional Customer Service Training
- People Resources (HR)
- Greeters/Volunteers
- Sociel Work Model for Customer Service
- Processes for Continued Improvement
VISION 2010: Cross-Cultural Trianing
Natividad Medical Center will set the standard for Cross-Cultural Training at safety net hospitals. From an initial stop at the Reception Desk in the lobby to a discussion of treatment options, a failure to communicate can interfere with health outcomes.
