Jose Montenegro, MPP, was hired in 2009 as Natividad Medical Center’s first Language Access Program Coordinator. Before joining NMC’s team, Mr. Montenegro was the Community Partnership Manager at First 5 Monterey County. He currently serves on the Cultural Competency Task Force of the Nonprofit Alliance of Monterey County.

Mr. Montenegro earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences from the Instituto Tecnologico Agropecuario No. 1 in Durango, Mexico, before completing a Master’s of Public Policy from the California State University at Monterey Bay, Leon & Sylvia Panetta Institute for Public Policy.
