Since then, the program has grown to include bereavement support for families with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU),Monterey County’s only California Children’s Services-certified Level III NICU. Over the next few months, the Hospital will further enhance the program to include palliative care and bereavement support for Pediatric Unit patients and their families.
