Medical Equipment

We continue to celebrate Natividad Medical Center’s dramatic multi-million financial turnaround. While NMC has been able to achieve a positive cash flow from operations, years of failure to invest in basic capital equipment and facility upgrades have left NMC with a five-year capital budget projecting $135 million in equipment and facilities needs by 2015.
In order to replace equipment as it becomes obsolete, ensure the delivery of the best care to all babies, children and adults, and dramatically transform the hospital’s ability to provide technologically advanced care to all patients, NMC must have profitable operations, sufficient borrowing capacity and a strong philanthropic program.
