NATIVIDAD ART: A Journey of Healing is a philanthropic initiative that creates a welcoming environment and supports spiritual care services at Natividad Medical Center. Over 50 paintings, photographs and sculptures are on display throughout the hospital, transforming the blank walls to ones that reflect the people, places and environment of Monterey County.
"Art delights the spirit - what a wonderful gift to give our patients," shares Linda Ford, President and CEO of Natividad Medical Foundation. Artist Fr. Arthur Poulin, one of the artists whose works hang in three locations throughout the hospital, remarked that “We feel a special connection to Natividad, and we are keeping the hospital in our prayers.”
