Who We Are
“At one level Natividad Medical Foundation does something very pragmatic, providing medical equipment that we use every day for almost every patient...There is a lot more here than meets the eye - every time I use a piece of equipment and see the name on the plaque, I know there are people
sharing the mission with us.”
Dr. Peter Chandler, Obstetrics & Gynecology Services Director
Natividad Medical Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, philanthropically supports the programs and services of Natividad Medical Center, a safety-net hospital in Salinas, California. We are passionate about raising funds to support access to health care for babies, children and families in our community, regardless of their ability to pay.
Why Natividad Medical Foundation Is Important to The Community:
-
The poor are our fastest growing population in the nation -- 1 out of 4 children in Monterey County lives in poverty.
-
There are 85,000 uninsured lives in Monterey County.
-
Natividad handled 44,000 emergency visits last year, one third of which were for children.
At Natividad Medical Center, the need outweighs the resources. Philanthropic support through Natividad Medical Foundation helps bridge the gap for under- and uninsured patients in need of essential health care.
No gift is too simple, no contribution too small, no amount of generosity less appreciated than the one before or the one to come. It is about intention. With your help, we intend to continue doing something great.
