Natividad Medical Center’s Acute Rehabilitation Center is designed to assist patients and their families with the physical, occupational and speech therapy needed to safely return home. It has been a lifesaver for many patients — from trauma victims whose surgeons follow them through the continuum of recovery care to those who would fall through the cracks with uncoordinated and episodic rehabilitative care.

Foundation donors make sure the Acute Rehabilitation Center creates a healing environment through local art pieces, bright colors and warm lighting, which helps patients focus on their recovery and return to their healthy lives sooner. The Foundation and hospital recently worked together to renovate the Acute Rehabilitation Center to create a warmer, more nurturing and stimulating environment to speed health care into healing.
